Jackson went to bed on Saturday night with what looked like pink eye. Sure enough it was. We stayed home on Sunday and recouped a little. I took them both to the Polyclinic urgent care yesterday afternoon. It was truly a treat. Since neither one of them had been there before, it took forever and a day to check in. I tried to time it when there wouldn't be very many people waiting but that didn't work out well either. Plus, Jeffrey was in an awful mood and screamed and cried the entire time. He was so uncooperative but there was nothing I could do. The door to the waiting room has to stay shut so there was no way to stand in the main enterance and wait. The other poor sick people had to suffer along with us. We saw Dr. Par and I had a really hard time understanding him. That's unusal for me, I don't usually have that problem. Plus I also was holding Jeffrey the entire time and had him whining and crying in my face. If I could hear the Dr., I couldn't understand what he was telling me. I did understand that Jackson had pink eye but Jeff didn't but he'd prescribe them both the same med just in case Jeff developed it in a day or so. I could not wait to get out of there. I decided it would be easier to fill the scripts at the pharmacy there instead of making another stop. Big mistake, took twice as long as they said it would and the boys were both loud and restless. Of course once we got back in the car, they were quite and satisified. What a day.
Hopefully Jackson can go to school tomorrow and life can return to a semi-normal state.
Poor Mindy called me tonight to say that all the kids and Aaron are sick. I feel so bad for them. Sorry guys!
