The Park

We went to the Prairie Play park today in Urbana. The kids love this park but it was just not a good day. It was a little windy and overcast. I guess it was better than what we had earlier this week - it snowed off and on all day Monday. Winter is never going to end in Illinois...


Jeffrey enjoyed the swings for 5 seconds before he realized Daddy was no longer within his line of vision.


This little sassy pants was in rare form today. Everytime I said something to him while he was on the giant jungle gym, he'd scream "No!" or "Go away Mommy!" Then of course all the other parents would turn and look at me. Lovely...

After they played for a bit, we went on a little walk to see the sculptures. There was a lot of whining and crying and runny noses. We didn't get very far before Jeremy and I had had enough and decided to head back to the car.


One of Jackson & Jeffrey's new favorite movie is Wall-E (character on Jackson's jacket). We even have Wall-E vitamins that Jeffrey is addicted too. His vocab now consists of "Momma, Daddy, Jackie, Buddy(neighbor's dog, go figure!) Kitty, Hallie, Grandpa, Granny, Liz (said it the other day for first time!), Manny(Handy Manny)Wall-E, and Eve (Wall-E's girlfriend).


Tommorrow, Jeremy is headed to the dentist for an emergency visit, he's having a problem with one of his teeth that has been going on for awhile now. He was having a lot of pain today and finally gave in and made the appointment. Keep your fingers crossed for him!
