This year we decorated pumpkins instead of carving them. None of us really wanted to carve them so we gave the boys markers and they went to town! I bought cheap washable markers and learned an important lesson. You get what you pay for when it comes to washable markers. They barely would come off in the tub. I had to scrub to get it off. Next time I will be buying crayola!
Jeremy scooped out his pumpkin and drilled holes in it.
Jeffrey's trio of pumpkins
Jackson's finished pirate. I bought the Mr Potato sets that they make for decorating pumpkins. I really liked the way they turned out.
Jeffrey's beautiful witch.
Jeremy's masterpiece
Jackson's treat bags he took to school
My Dad came down for a few days. He brought with him the furniture I bought when Mindy & I went to the Antique mall in Sept. I've been dying to get it because it's going to house some of my ever growing scrapbook supplies. Daisy (Dad's dog) decided she would turn it into a makeshift dog house while he was busy loading the truck. This dog is HUGE and I can't believe she squeezed her fat body into the bottom shelf.
Here's my Dad and his dog all packed and ready to hit the road. The poor dog couldn't lay down because he had so much stuff in the cab with them since it was pouring down rain!
